Advanced Topical Formulation Technology

Our topical portfolio includes 180+ formulations across ointments, creams, gels, and lotions designed for dermatological conditions and transdermal drug delivery. Utilizing advanced emulsion technology, penetration enhancers, and rheology modifiers, we ensure optimal skin absorption, spreadability, and patient acceptability.

Available in water-in-oil (W/O) emulsions for occlusive effects and oil-in-water (O/W) emulsions for non-greasy feel. All formulations undergo viscosity testing, spreadability analysis, pH testing, and microbial limit testing to meet international quality standards.

  • Water-in-oil (W/O) and oil-in-water (O/W) emulsion technology
  • Advanced penetration enhancers for optimal skin absorption
  • Non-greasy, rapid-absorption base formulations
  • Aluminum tube, HDPE jar, and unit-dose sachet packaging
  • WHO-GMP certified topical manufacturing facilities

Production Process

State-of-the-art manufacturing process ensuring quality, consistency, and compliance at every stage

01
Raw Material Testing

Phase A (Oil Phase) & Phase B (Aqueous Phase) Preparation

All active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), oils, waxes, and aqueous components are individually weighed and tested before the two phases are prepared separately for emulsification.

  • Identity and purity verification of APIs and excipients
  • Separate heating of oil phase and aqueous phase to target temperature
  • Microbial and heavy metal analysis of raw materials
  • Certificate of Analysis (COA) review
02
Emulsification Process

Emulsification using High-Shear Mixers

The oil and aqueous phases are combined under controlled temperature and agitation using high-shear mixers to form a stable, uniform emulsion base.

  • Controlled-temperature phase combination (W/O or O/W emulsions)
  • High-shear homogenization for droplet size uniformity
  • Vacuum processing to eliminate air entrapment
  • In-process viscosity and consistency checks
03
API Incorporation

API Incorporation with Homogenization

Active pharmaceutical ingredients and penetration enhancers are incorporated into the base under precise homogenization to ensure uniform drug distribution and particle size reduction.

  • Uniform API dispersion using in-line homogenizers
  • Particle size reduction to below 50 microns
  • Addition of preservatives, stabilizers, and penetration enhancers
  • Content uniformity testing
04
Cooling and Viscosity Adjustment

Cooling & Viscosity Adjustment

The emulsion is gradually cooled under continuous mixing to set the final texture, with viscosity and spreadability adjusted to meet target product specifications.

  • Controlled-rate cooling to prevent phase separation
  • Viscosity and rheology adjustment
  • pH verification for skin compatibility
  • Spreadability and texture evaluation
05
Tube and Jar Filling

Filling in Tubes/Jars via Automatic Fillers

The finished formulation is filled into aluminum tubes, HDPE jars, or unit-dose sachets using automatic filling lines under hygienic, temperature-controlled conditions.

  • Automated volumetric filling with fill-weight verification
  • Tube crimping and tamper-evident sealing
  • Batch and lot coding
  • In-line leak and seal integrity testing
06
Quality Testing and Packaging

Quality Testing & Packaging

Finished batches undergo comprehensive quality testing including microbial limit testing and stability evaluation before final cartoning and release.

  • Microbial limit testing per USP <61>
  • Viscosity, pH, and spreadability final checks
  • Secondary cartoning and batch documentation
  • Final QC approval and release
